The Executive Director
Due to the growth of the community and the expansion of the program, the Board of Directors hired the first Executive Director in April 2003. In the spring of 2009, the Board of Directors proudly announced the hiring of Tammi Bramblett, LF's second Executive Director. Tammi is a LF alumni of the class of 2006 with a strong resume having worked in a variety of roles with several non-profit organizations.
The hiring of an Executive Director gave the program an ongoing voice that reaches out to the community, businesses, and organizations. This position enables the ED to solicit potential leadership participants through businesses, involvement with the local Chamber of Commerce, community, religious and governmental organizations, along with nurturing and fostering existing community partnerships through education and leadership development.
It also relieves volunteers of the day-to-day administrative duties of the program along with communication with class participants, LF Board of Directors, LF Alumni, and the community. Promotion, advertising and a continuous search for funding to keep the program strong and viable is a year round process not just when it is time to put a class together. Volunteers are still utilized to assist with classes as well as orientation, the retreat and graduation.
The ED is a central contact that brings continuity to the program. The Leadership Forsyth Program must continue and be strong because no one person or group possesses all of the necessary knowledge, skills, talents, and experience required of leadership today.
