Youth Leadership Forsyth Program

Established in 2000, Youth Leadership Forsyth provides high school juniors from public, private and home school with leadership training, a greater understanding of public decisions and opportunities for community involvement. This year we have joined forces with the YMCA to lead a curriculum entitled “Breaking the Mold” , a program targeted at youth and leadership in their lives. YLF 2 will kick off its first year this year to further the development of the rising stars who participated in last year’s YLF program. Many new things are happening with the program, we are very excited!

Youth Leadership Forsyth is the only program of its kind in Forsyth County. It is a great opportunity for students from different schools to meet others across the county to develop a level of mutual trust and respect.
